English version: Red sapphire And we all came back as before We have waited for love He would come back safe But now let's look at that cry of stars. We have created a desert of mountains Which we never managed to get over Too many obstacles. Too many arrows. Too much heroism to be put on. Jonny will return to his nest from the farther sky even tonight But he will not be less alone For what remains to him. The only companion will be the hope To find a red sapphire in the sand And to be able to scrutinize and then be enchanted And almost cry before the memory Of someone who's gone away on fire thinking who knows in which place up there or down there He could scream to the souls of paradise. But sapphire doesn't grow in the sand, It isn't found on mountains ever climbed Too high to be imagined In the place closest to the end of the world Where the nights are still lighted by cries of stars it's not Jonny's fault if he repeats the same story every time, For all the kings of the desert Where there is no red sapphire A doll to the sky, a swallow to the ground, a child around midnight In a cry of stars Far away from people's eyes. You will not find any red sapphire, they'll want to collide to own it And Jonny will have to start again And the red sapphire stays in front of my child's eyes At midnight he's still waiting for His doll
